Date1999 - 2003
AbstractThis report summarizes the results of a recent study undertaken by the Delaware Valley (DELVAL) Regional Planning Commission on concern about air pollution and awareness of ozone-related issues among residents of the Philadelphia-Wilmington-Trenton metropolitan area. The data were collected 1999 - 2003 via a telephone survey that was administered to randomly selected individuals residing in the 14 county area served by the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC). These counties included: Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia Counties of Pennsylvania; Burlington, Camden, Cumberland, Gloucester, Mercer, and Salem Counties of New Jersey; Cecil County of Maryland; and Kent and New Castle Counties of Delaware (Map 1). Four of these counties (Cecil, Cumberland, Kent, and Salem) were combined to form an area labeled "hinterland".
